Ok I am back from Myanmar and man have my eyes been open...
I dun wanna do much talking so let me just go brief and show you pictures instead.
Myanmar or used to be known as Burma is a country between Thailand and China...
Very poor with very little rule of law cos the army is still in power and the elected Prime Minister from the opposition is still behind bars... I think her name is Aung San Suu Kyi something...
The country is uptight and closed...
When I reached there... The scene looks like what I parents went through as children... Very poor setting...
Very staunge buddhist country...
Oh the tour I lead was a whole bunch of aunties... All are eligible to be my grandmother... add all their age can reach 1000++...
Ok let my pictures do the talking now...

Slight interuption...
Yin Ying came back so we went out.... here is the picture....
Ok.... Back to myanmar....
This is my hotel room... very very big one and I have the scenic view of Shwedagon in my room....
This Pagoda is called Kabaye and it is said to have Buddha's footprint....
This one is the Buddha's tooth relic... His tooth is inside... Maybe Sze Jun can go check if Lord Buddha has cavaties or not... Joking ya....
This is Shwedagon with the many sides of it...
People sweeping the floor as a tribute to Lord Buddha
This is in Bago where nearly 1000++ monks live and when its "makan" time which is only once, yes, once a day, they line up and someone be it tourist or who so ever will give them rice...
After the trip to Bago, I manage to visit one of the Largest reclining Buddha In the world!!!
And have you guys heard of the famous Thanlynn "Ham Yu" aka ikan masin...
I went to that place la but didn't manage to see "ham yu" but then as usual Pagoda again....
This girl in the picture above is very cute....
I asked her to take picture and she nearly ran away...
Ok and since myanmar was once ruled by Portugese...
This is a church that only lasted a year... 1749 - 1750
But there is one church opposite the Myanmar Times which is worth a look.... btw, newspaper there are crap... no news on politics nor anything around the world... just crap like this minister went here and there or what movie is on and so forth....
One of the things I love photographing is children... They just have such a presence in photos...
Check these out...
And hence that marks the end of my lil journey to Myanmar...
Here is the Myanmar beer I drank... Quite nice...
And as they say in burmese... Je su Tim Ba Teh Mic Sui ye....
